This tour takes you to the North of Armenia, where you will be surrounded by beautiful nature. Enjoy a visit to Sevanavank Monastery, stunning landscape and cultural heritage of Dilijan City. Nice weather, mild summer and warm winter attract tourists all year round.
We embark on our journey to the lands of ancient treasures in Christian history, the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin(UNESCO), the religious capital of Armenia, and the seat of the Supreme Patriarch – the Catholics of all Armenians. The story holds that the site upon which the main Cathedral stands today is the place where Noah made the fire after the flood. Where one of the earliest Christian churches, was built. Today, it is located in the lower chamber, underneath the main Altar of the Cathedral. Zvartnots, a complex of structures erected in the middle of the 7th century near Etchmiadzin, is of extreme architectural value. Zvartnots collapsed as the result of an earthquake in 930 and was never restored.
This day trip takes you to explore one of the most beautiful gorges of Armenia: the Gorge of Qasakh River, famous for its beautiful churches standing on cliff edges. Have a short stop at the Alley of the Alphabet, where you will be given the chance to find the first letter of your name and even snap a picture with it.
